This 700-clock hours program covers courses on each of the fashion design disciplines, including; Garment Construction, Pattern Making, Fashion Design, Draping, Grading, The Business of Fashion, Textiles, History of Fashion, Trends; plus internship hours in order to provide students with the foundation they need to develop a career in the industry. The students will complete the program by making a three-look collection during the last 2 months of the program for the runway fashion show at the graduation ceremony.
As a student, you will earn access to fashion related events and activities, including student invitations from the Fashion Group International South FL and tours to garment factories and industry trade shows in Miami. Students will receive discounts at fabric stores and a database of resources for starting their clothing line.
Our small, hands-on classes are held at our facility located in North Miami, FL's art district/downtown in front of the MOCA (Museum of Contemporary Art).
