In this first of 2 levels, students will learn how to use Optitex software to create patterns of any style you design. How to do the grading and lay-out of each pattern piece and calculate the yield per style. You will learn how to use all of the program tools to save your patterns in different formats, share them with your team or factories, and print your patterns for testing.
The instructor will start by teaching basic pattern pieces, how to add pattern information, like grainlines, notches, style numbers,s, etc. How to add seam allowance and how to do and match pattern placement on fabric.
Certification of completion included after completing Digital Pattern Making and Design 2.
